Turn progress photos and stats into a fitness transformation

Choose a date range, arrange before-and-after photos, highlight training stats, and add notes to explain your progress.

Progress over a training block is easy to feel and harder to show. A transformation in TandemFit pulls a date range together into one summary: progress photo layouts, a few highlighted stats, summary sections, and notes about what you were doing. It works for a cut, a build phase, a program block, or a stretch coming back from time off.

How do I start a transformation?

Tap Journal in the bottom tabs. Press and hold the round + button, drag to Transformation, and release.

How do I choose the date range?

Use the date row, or the 30D, 12W, 6M, and 1Y chips. The window matters: only stats and progress photos inside the start and end dates can be used. If you shorten the range after building a layout, photos that fall outside it are removed from the staged layout.

Pick the range first, then build around it.

How do I add a before-and-after layout?

Tap Add Render to open the progress photo layout editor. Choose a layout such as side-by-side, slider, timeline strip, or grid. Fill each slot with saved progress photos or other eligible media from the selected range.

To mark up a photo, tap the pencil on a filled slot. You can add emoji or text, or blur an area. Complete the render to stage it on the transformation. If you already have a matching draft layout, you can resume it instead of starting over.

Which stats should I highlight?

You can pick up to four hero stats and up to three summary sections. Choose the ones that describe the phase you are summarizing rather than filling every slot. A strength block and a weight-loss phase may call for different highlights.

Then add notes. Context such as what program you followed, how often you trained, or what got in the way makes the summary more useful when you come back to it.

How do I finish?

Tap Create Transformation. You can review the finished summary later from Journal, or from any media linked to that transformation.

Get better photos before you need them

A transformation can only use photos you have already saved. Adding progress photos during regular body measurement check-ins gives you material to work with. From Journal, hold the + button and drag to Measurement to log a check-in with measurements, notes, and photos.

Consistent framing, lighting, and pose make side-by-side photos much easier to compare. For more on keeping check-ins comparable, read make your progress check-ins easier to compare. For what measurements add beyond the scale, see what body scans and measurements tell you.
